TVS Motor Company achieved its highest ever monthly sales in August 2025, crossing the 5 lakh unit mark. Total sales reached 5,09,539 units, reflecting a 30.12% year-on-year (YoY) growth over 3,91,588 units sold in August 2024. Strong demand across scooters, motorcycles, and electric vehicles, coupled with robust export performance, contributed to this record-breaking month.
Year-on-Year Performance
- Domestic 2W Sales: 3,68,862 units, up 27.60% from 2,89,073 units last year.
- Exports: 1,21,926 units, a 35.82% increase YoY.
- Scooters: 2,22,296 units, up 35.85% from 1,63,629 units.
- Motorcycles: 2,21,870 units, up 30.14% from 1,70,486 units.
Scooters and motorcycles commanded 45.29% and 45.21% market share respectively.
Electric vehicles also performed well. The TVS iQube e-scooter sold 25,138 units, up from 24,779 units in August 2024. The recently launched TVS Orbiter, a smart urban e-scooter priced at ₹99,900 (ex-showroom), offers a 158 km IDC range and is expected to bolster electric vehicle sales further.
Month-on-Month Performance
Compared to July 2025, total sales (2W + 3W, domestic + exports) grew 11.65%, rising from 4,56,350 units in July.

- 2W Exports: Slight decline of 6.26% MoM
- Motorcycles: Increased 10.11% MoM
- Scooters: Up 12.12% MoM
- e-Scooters: Grew 6.49% MoM
- Mopeds: Surged 19.45% MoM
Three-Wheeler Segment
The 3W segment also witnessed growth:
- Domestic sales: 5,307 units, up 6.12% MoM
- Exports: 13,441 units, up 7.02% MoM
- Total 3W sales: 18,748 units, up 6.77% from July 2025
